In the past we have welcomed such pianists as Gabriela Montera (who played at President Obama’s inauguration), Garrick Ohlsson, Kevin Kenner and many other artists from around the world. This year the Foundation presents the twenty-three year old Josh Wright who, acclaimed for his “sparkling and sensitive” performances, has delighted audiences across the United States and in Europe. His performance in CAMI Hall in New York in 2004 was met with great enthusiasm by Phillip Dieckow, reviewer for the International Pinault Society, who described his performance of the Chopin Études as “brilliant, stunning and effortless”. www.joshwrightpiano.com
