Fantasy and Piano Sonata No. 14 in C minor, K. 475/457; Piano Sonata No. 16 in C major, K. 545; Piano Sonata No. 15 in F major, K. 533/494; Piano Sonata No. 18 in D major, K. 576 by Wolfgang Amadeus MozartRobert Silverman has reached a level of musical virtuosity and technical authority that can only be attained through years of deep commitment to the instrument and its finest literature. Having toured four continents and performed under the batons of such conductors as Seiji Ozawa and John Eliot Gardiner, this afternoon he completes a magnificent four-part concert series at Old First, concluding with the last four of Mozart’s 18 piano sonatas.
