Van-Anh Vanessa Vo & Friends – Old First Concerts

Van-Anh devotes her life-long passion and mastery of the dan tranh zither to the creation of distinctive music blended with a cultural essence that can only come from this unique Vietnamese instrument. Her many accomplishments include an Emmy Award in 2009 for her soundtrack to the documentary Bolinao 52. With her group, she presents music that is an ethno-layering of melodic, rhythmic and poetic ideas from several very different musical traditions that fit powerfully into a brilliant new sound. The message is simple yet deep.

Scheduling is flexible — you choose when to work! We especially need helping hands for our Friday and Saturday night performances.
