Works by Enrique EspÃn Yépez, Luis Humberto Salgado, Alberto Ginastera, Frédéric Chopin and Franz SchubertBorn in Quito, Ecuador, Washington GarcÃa began his musical studies at the age of six, obtaining a Bachelor of Music from the National Conservatory of Music in Ecuador, and Masters and Doctoral degrees from the Peabody Institute of the Johns Hopkins University. Featured on his program are works by two of the most renowned Ecuadorian composers, as well as works by Ginastera, Chopin and Schubert.
