A duo of highly creative, engaging, and thoughtful young musicians performs a mixture of improvisation, original compositions, and music from the standard jazz repertoire.
Dynamic young musicians present the World Premiere of a work they commissioned by Elizabeth Kimble alongside works by Sergei Prokofiev and Ralph Vaugh Williams.
Flutist Robert Stallman is joined by pianist Dmitriy Cogan for Romantic Impulses, a performance featuring works by C.P.E. Bach, Dvořák, Ravel, Jeanjean, and Taktakishvili.
Celebrating the music of celebrated father and son composers Iosif Andriasov and Arshak Andriasov. Shostakovich said of Iosif “When the entire world lost a sense of harmony (he) has not only not lost this sense, but added…a new quality.”
