Music of Love and Fantasy

Fantasy in C minor, K 475 by Mozart; Fantasy in C major, Op. 17 by Schumann; Masques, Op. 34 (1919) by Szymanowski; Don Juan Fantasy by LisztThe San Jose Mercury News lauded pianist Daniel Glover as “a whirlwind” and “incisive, exciting … a natural for hyper-virtuosic challenge,” and praised his appearance last year with the Saratoga Symphony as one of the “Top 10 Classical Performances in the Bay Area for 2005.” Don’t be surprised if his presentation this afternoon of timeless musical romantic fantasies by Mozart, Liszt and Schumann, and Szymanowski’s lighthearted and lesser known Tantris, The Buffoon, and Don Juan’s Serenade from Masques, makes the list for 2006.
