Music, Thou Soul of Heaven

Mélodies passagères by Samuel Barber; The Faucon (settings by Pinkham, George Walker and John Edmunds); Two by Marianne Moore by Virgil Thompson; Another Sleep by Ned Rorem; Three Latin Motets by Daniel Pinkham; Cantique by Nadia Boulanger; Psaumes by Arthur HoneggerSven Olbash pays tribute to Daniel Pinkham by performing the late composers songs alongside those of his teachers and colleagues. Hailing from Pinkhams native Lynn, Massachusetts, Olbash championed his works as both singer and organist before having the opportunity to study with the maestro at New England Conservatory.
