Exploring the evolution of Spanish music from the crowning jewels of the late 19th and early 20th centuries to the works of the young masters of today.

Firesong – Friday, January 25 at 8 pm – POSTPONED

A flexible roster arts ensemble of dynamic Bay Area based musicians, Firesong engages new audiences with innovative programing, creating a space for composers and performers to advance vocal chamber repertoire.

Circadian String Quartet – Sunday, January 6 at 4 pm

Circadian String Quartet, focusing on classical and contemporary repertoire with folkloric or cultural significance, perform Schubert’s Death and the Maiden quartet alongside Shostakovich’s third string quartet.

The Mont Alto Motion Picture Orchestra- Friday, November 30 at 8 pm

In this concert, Mont Alto will focus on the artistry, emotion, and breadth of the “photoplay music” repertoire, and will introduce long-neglected composers–including Henry Hadley, the first conductor of the San Francisco Symphony.

Strobe – Friday, November 9 at 8 pm

Featuring the San Francisco Premiere of Vincent Russo’s revised Visions and Visitations, written for the ensemble, alongside other new and traditional works for their unusual instrumentation.

Scheduling is flexible — you choose when to work! We especially need helping hands for our Friday and Saturday night performances.

An excellent opportunity for students, seniors, or anyone who possesses a love for music!
