Péter Tóth

Funérailles, Waldesrauchen, Sinistre-Unstern!, Nauges gris, Csárdás macabre, Fantasy and Fugue on B-A-C-H by Liszt; Sonata in B-flat, D. 960 by Schubert
We are honored to present the American debut of an extraordinarily exciting and powerful young classical pianists. Since beginning his musical studies in 1994, Hungarian Péter Tóth has become one of the most honored performers of his generation, winning major international piano competitions across Europe, including the Franz Liszt International Competitions in Weimar and Budapest, and a coveted International Grand Prix du Disque Award from the Franz Liszt Society last year. Tonight this renowned interpreter of Liszt performs six of that composer’s works.
