San Francisco Guitar Quartet – Old First Concerts

The SFGQ will present an internationally diverse and engaging program of new and traditional works for guitar quartet and is very excited to welcome talented new member Jon Mendle on 6 and 7 string classical guitars and 11 string arch guitar! The program includes At the Sound of Light by John Anthony Lennon, Objets Futiles by Atanas Ourkouzounov, and two traditional Latin Songs: La Partida-Vals Venezolano and La Venenosa-Huayno Peruano arranged by quartet member David Duenas.

Our concerts rely on the generosity of volunteers to assist with simple tasks like:

ushering

distributing programs

box office

set-up and clean-up

Scheduling is flexible — you choose when to work! We especially need helping hands for our Friday and Saturday night performances.

An excellent opportunity for students, seniors, or anyone who possesses a love for music!
