The Eusebius Duo

Sonata in A minor, Op. 105 and Sonata in D minor, Op. 121 by Robert Schumann; Sonata in G major, Op. 78 by Johannes BrahmsApplauded for their “exquisite balance of control and passion,” the Eusebius Duo strives to create a concert atmosphere from which the audience members will emerge inspired to delve even more deeply into the world of the music they have heard. Monika Gruber and Hillary Nordwell share a special affinity to Robert Schumanns life and music, which extends to other composers with whom Schumanns life was intertwined. This July, they present a program featuring the two violin sonatas of Robert Schumann, paired with the G major sonata by Johannes Brahms. The Eusebius Duo is an affiliate of the San Francisco Friends of Chamber Music, a not-for-profit organization dedicated to the service of chamber music in California.
