Trio 180 – November 22, 2013 – Old First Concerts

Following its April performance of Mendelssohn’s two piano trios, Trio 180 now delves into the turbulent and colorful world of Robert Schumann’s 1st and 3rd piano trios. The concert will be preceded by a lively presentation in which the performers bring the rehearsal process alive, discussing various aspects of preparing the works, and engaging the audience directly in questions of character, balance, articulation, and ensemble.
