Taking its name from a melodic motif in Iranian music, Ava Nazar’s Nahoft is a program of music by women composers from the Iranian diaspora which draws on Iran’s musical traditions while also reflecting Western classical and contemporary influences.

Every year we host a concert celebrating the birth of one of the greatest composers of all time—Frédéric Chopin—with acclaimed musicians performing his works. This year we’ll have performances by pianists including Jason Chiu, Omri Shimron, Robert Schwartz, Ariel Chien, Oliver Moore and more! There will be birthday cake and champagne at intermission, too.
