Le Due Muse is a cello and piano duo formed in 2000 by Bay Area cellist Sarah Hong and her longtime duo partner, Japanese pianist Makiko Ooka in 2000. Celebrating their 25th anniversary this year, they have performances planned this summer in the United States, Japan, and South Korea.

Their return to the Old First Concert stage, this time performing some of the most romantic and passionate chamber works by Russian composers with guest violinist Fumino Ando, promises to be a memorable summer evening.

Old First Concerts has volunteer opportunities available!

Our concerts rely on the generosity of volunteers to assist with simple tasks like:

ushering

distributing programs

box office

set-up and clean-up

Scheduling is flexible — you choose when to work! We especially need helping hands for our Friday and Saturday night performances.

An excellent opportunity for students, seniors, or anyone who possesses a love for music!

If you’d like to consider volunteering with Old First Concerts, please contact curtishuth@oldfirstconcerts.org for more information.
