| Natasha Makhijani Violinist Natasha Makhijani holds a Bachelor of Music degree from the San Francisco Conservatory of Music (SFCM) and a Master of Music degree from the Eastman School of Music. Her principal teachers include Catherine Stewart, Bettina Mussumeli and Zvi Zeitlin. She has served as concertmaster and assistant concertmaster of orchestras at SFCM, Eastman, Eastern Music Festival, Las Vegas Music Festival, and most recently as assistant concertmaster and soloist with the National Repertory Orchestra. An avid chamber musician, she was selected to participate in the Eastman Chamber Music Society, is a founding member of the Ganesh String Quartet, Ganesh String Quartet, and a member of the Bay Area-based Picasso String Quartet. Natasha has coached chamber music in the preparatory division of SFCM, been a teacher of secondary violin lessons at Eastman, and is currently a violin teacher at the Canon School of Music. Natasha has been a member of the Monterey Symphony Orchestra since February, 2009. |
