Gini "The Duchess" Wilson Artist's Website >> Gini Wilson; The Duchess, has been known as a legendary pianist and entertainer in the Bay Area for some time to both jazz and classical audiences. As a composer, her compositions and arrangements have received acclaim in national reviews. Her career spans solo jazz, duo, trio and quartet, and ranges from jazz clubs and festivals to producing television shows and background scores for film. Gini and her quartet, now called The San Francisco ChamberJazz Quartet, are appearing regularly in jazz festivals and concerts such as The Bach Dynamite and Dancing Society, San Jose Jazz Festival, The Whale and Jazz Festival in Gualala, Jazz in Jackson Hole, Wyo. and the San Miguel de Allende International Festival in Mexico. She is currently performing at well known clubs in the Bay Area, including Jazz at Pearls and Shanghai 1930 in San Francisco, where she is also noted for her irreverent sense of humor.
